Mr. P. R. Mehta was the first generation entrepreneur, and the visionary leader who made a phenomenal contribution in the foundation and building of the family business, and the Bell Brand from scratch to the Pinnacles with foresight and through his enduring efforts, and enterprising genius. He followed his uncompromising business principles, and ethics with his Indomitable Spirit that was assertive yet with an element of humility reflecting in his personality, infused with faith that was unshakable.

Mr. P. R. Mehta with his in-depth knowledge, and eye for purity, would easily detect adulterated saffron or inferior quality in saffron. His sensory perception was receptive enough to identify the age of a Saffron crop. He could gauge an old lot (pick) of saffron, just by its look and a sniff of its aromatic strength. He had a strong and peculiar sense of how Saffron stigmas from a fresh crop would look, smell and taste. Amazing.

We should say, His mind was like that of a scientist. Productivity was the prime focus, out of all his initiatives, and Research & Development activities. He proved that academics can only give a degree, But true wisdom is in the inquisitive willingness to learn, in-depth study, lateral thinking, thorough focus and the practical knowledge acquired through the work. He always
believed that one should develop this.

Most importantly, He was a workaholic, and a passionate risk-taker. He had an uncanny wisdom and endurance to attempt newer experiments that had larger objectives. His extremely optimistic approach combined with pioneering efforts, always endeavoured and motivated the all the family members to scale greater heights amidst all the odds.

All the members of the Mehta family including Mr. Sanjay Mehta and Mr. Nilesh Mehta, fondly recognise the unflinching support of our mother Mrs. Saryu Ben, to our father Late Mr. P. R. Mehta in all his endeavours with her extraordinary insights right from the start-up days, Also imbibing ethics and values among all the family members.
